{"id":6460,"date":"2016-03-14T14:44:32","date_gmt":"2016-03-14T14:44:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/injuredveteran.wpengine.com\/?p=5443"},"modified":"2016-03-14T14:44:32","modified_gmt":"2016-03-14T14:44:32","slug":"weekly-news-round-up-17-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.injuredveterans.com\/es\/weekly-news-round-up-17-2\/","title":{"rendered":"February Summit Prompts New Initiatives at VA to Strengthen Suicide Prevention"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Early in February 2016, Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) stakeholders and thought leaders met at the \u201cPreventing Veteran Suicide \u2013 A Call to Action\u201d summit to discuss current research, approaches and best practices to address reducing veteran suicide. Following the conference, the VA announced several changes with the goal of strengthening its approach to suicide prevention.
