{"id":6166,"date":"2017-07-25T21:15:11","date_gmt":"2017-07-25T21:15:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/warfighterlegal.com\/?p=6166"},"modified":"2017-07-25T21:15:11","modified_gmt":"2017-07-25T21:15:11","slug":"weekly-news-round-up-19","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.injuredveterans.com\/es\/weekly-news-round-up-19\/","title":{"rendered":"Silicon Valley Couple Wants to Help Veterans Work in Tech Fields"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Marc Andreessen, a Silicon Valley venture capitalist who is one of high-tech\u2019s best-known investors and entrepreneurs, and his wife, Laura Arrillaga-Andreessen, a philanthropist-educator-lecturer and author, have pledged to give $275,000 to four non-profits to help more service men and women qualify for high tech jobs.<\/p>\n<p>The beneficiaries of the couple\u2019s generosity are the COMMIT Foundation, The Institute for Veterans and Military Families (IVMF), The Honor Foundation and Vetsin Tech.
